Qualifications

I am an experienced clinical psychologist and cognitive therapist who specialises in working with all types of anxiety, depression, difficulties with traumatic experiences and in relationships. In the NHS, I have worked in primary and secondary care and currently work with more complex cases in tertiary care in the specialist CBT service at Walkergate Park in Newcastle.

I run a small private practice out of rooms in Gosforth and have seen many patients in this way over the past five years.

To maintain my skills and further my experience, I also train and supervise cognitive therapists on the PGDipCBT at Newcastle University where I am an associate clinical lecturer. I contribute to the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and have some involvement in research within my role. I am accredited as a cognitive therapist, supervisor and trainer with the BABCP. I am also an associate fellow of the BPS and HCPC registered.
